Bowers Recognized For Excellence


This past week freshman, Erik Bowers, was recognized by the Wilson School District. During this past season Bowers was the first freshman in Central Pennsylvania Interscholastic Hockey League (CPIHL) history to record a hat trick in his first varsity game. Bowers hat trick came against Cedar Cliff on December 11, 2009 in which he recorded a goal in each period in a 6-1 win. Bowers was also recognized by the Wilson School Board for becoming the highest scoring Tier I freshman in CPIHL history. Bowers had 10 goals and 8 assists which put him second on the team in point only to senior, Max Farrara. Bowers young talent can only continue to grow and the Bulldogs are looking forward to 3 more productive years from Bowers.
